How is Relin different from Hookdeck or Svix?
Hookdeck focuses on routing, retries, and transforms. Svix focuses on customer-facing outbound webhooks. Relin brings those surfaces together: vendor webhook monitoring, customer webhook portals, durable delivery, replay, and alerts when events go missing.
Can customers manage their own webhook endpoints?
Yes. Your backend creates a short-lived portal link for a customer, then your frontend embeds it. Customers can add endpoints, choose event types, enable or disable delivery, and rotate signing secrets.
What is gap detection?
Relin watches for missing events using three layers: vendor-specific lifecycle rules (e.g. a Stripe invoice was finalized but no payment event followed), sequence checks where vendors provide ordered IDs, and reconciliation that polls vendor list APIs to find events you were never sent a webhook for. When something's missing, you get alerted.
Do I still need a message queue?
For most teams, no. Relin ingests webhooks, stores them durably, retries failed deliveries, and fans out to multiple internal endpoints. If your current setup is "webhook → queue → worker," Relin replaces the queue and adds monitoring on top.
Which vendors are supported?
Stripe, GitHub, Shopify, Slack, Twilio, and SendGrid have vendor-aware signature verification and anomaly detection. Any other webhook source works with the generic endpoint — you get delivery, retries, and replay, just without vendor-specific gap monitoring.
Where do alerts go?
Slack, email, or a webhook URL — your choice. Relin alerts on missing events, delivery failures, and vendor anomalies. Configure channels per workspace in the dashboard.
Is my payload data safe?
Payloads are stored securely and used only for delivery, replay, metrics, and anomaly detection within your workspace. Never used for model training. Access is authenticated through workspace membership.
Can AI agents use Relin?
Yes. Approved agents can inspect delivery health, triage issues, and start replay without a custom integration.
